On the 11th of September Amsterdam based collective @colectivopantitlan visited Hamburg, experimenting with concepts of communicating the city as a Foodscape through collectively developing and cooking receipts based on the stories and ingredients discovered during the day.

As part of the research phase of Merging Shores the collective visited the international and regional trading hub Großmarkt Hamburg, the Turkish traders at St Georg, the climate conscious farm of @wefield_org in the outskirts of the city and the collaborative and process-based development of @alster_bille_elbe_parks in Hammerbrook.

We thank @colectivopantitlan for all their engagement and care. We are grateful for everything we experienced together over this summer!

This collaboration was part of the first research phase of our current project in the inner city of Hamburg, Merging Shores. Merging Shores is a satellite project of THE GATE by @imaginethecity

Check out the app THE GATE for the audio contribution of Gran Collectivo Patitlán and our other collaborators.

A special thanks to @wefield_org for all the amazing ingredients and @alster_bille_elbe_parks for showing us around and Werkstatt @groeningerhof for having us!
